Teriyaki Chicken Stir Fry
Teriyaki Chicken Stir Fry brings the bold and savory flavors of Japan to your kitchen, offering a delightful balance of sweet and salty notes. This dish features tender chicken, crisp vegetables, and a glossy teriyaki sauce, making it a beloved choice for a quick and flavorful meal.
Ingredients:
1 lb chicken breast, thinly sliced
2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, carrots, snap peas, etc.), sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon ginger, grated
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
Sesame seeds, for garnish
Green onions, sliced, for garnish
Method:
In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, minced garlic, grated ginger, and cornstarch to make the teriyaki sauce.
Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Add sliced chicken to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, stir fry the mixed vegetables until crisp-tender.
Return the cooked chicken to the skillet.
Pour the teriyaki sauce over the chicken and vegetables, stirring well to coat.
Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the chicken and vegetables evenly.
Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving.
